Student Travel Grant Informations
ACM GoodIT 2026 is pleased to provide travel grants to support students attending the main conference. The purpose of this program is to encourage graduate student participation at the conference by funding a portion of the travel cost for students who would otherwise be unable to attend.
Eligibility
The student’s CV and application letter will be evaluated in selecting students for a travel grant. PhD students who are authors will have priority in the assignment of these travel grants. In addition to this, we prioritize equal representation and diversity.
How to Apply
Your application must include the following:
A CV that includes complete contact information, which includes the following:
- Current institution and country of institution.
- Email address.
- Research experience
An application letter (max 1 page) that includes:
- A summary of the student’s research interests and accomplishments to date.
- A description of areas reflected in the ACM GoodIT program that would impact the student’s research.
- A statement about why attending the conference is important to the student.
- An estimate of the following costs of attending ACM GoodIT 2026: airfare, hotel, and conference registration. It is anticipated that travel grants will partially cover these attendance costs.
